scrollbar hangs 21.4.11 under Win2000 20 years, 11 months

Dear developers, switching from Windows NT to 2000 a strange problems shows up: I can scroll without problems with the wheel, but as soon as I hit the scrollbar, xemacs doesn't respond to anything any more, it simply hangs (and doesn't recover, at least not within 30 minutes)...doesn't seem to depend on anything else. As I formerly only worked on Linux and only recently need to use Windows (thanks a lot for the Windows port :-)))), I unfortunately do not know how to get further information about what really happens; I can only give the following information about my system: Xemacs 21.4.11 (both native + cygwin show the same problem) Win2000 (dual processor machine) USB wheel mouse (I saw an older message with similar problems with lazy-lock: in my case, it hangs even without lazy-lock, font-lock,...) probs with Mule on Mac OS X 20 years, 11 months

I'm trying to get a working XEmacs w/Mule running on a new Mac OS X machine. I noticed that when I compile --with-mule, the fonts are noticeably more blurry then when I compile --with-mule=no. Other than this, there are no changes. Any ideas what in Mule could be causing this difference in my font (default 12-pt Courier)? See the following screenshots based on an `xemacs -vanilla': http://mastaler.com/tmp/with-mule.tiff http://mastaler.com/tmp/without-mule.tiff This is with XEmacs 21.4.12 because I wasn't able to compile 21.5.X on OS X. Unsure if the problem remains there or not.

Hi, There are red builds in the smoketest since a few days now. Is someone working on it? Would an automatic post from the smoketest to the xemacs-buildreport be valuable or just add noise? Yours -- %% Mats PS. I have gone back to running smoketest under cron again so the occasional hanging build might show upp again. DS.

[Bug: 21.4.11] desktop 20 years, 11 months

My .xemacs/init.el file had lines (which I have had to comment out) ;(load "desktop") ;(desktop-load-default) ;(desktop-read) because every time I started a new XEmacs it would crash with an error. Perhaps unrelated to this is the buggy behaviour of "fill-paragraph-or-region" after the upgrade, which no loger respects LaTeX environments.
