According to its `ChangeLog', `debug' elisp package have not had major
changes of functionality for too long. In particular, it is overdue
for emacs sync. AFAIK, the most notable drawback of its current state
is lack of `gud-gdb-complete-command' implementing gdb-style command
line completion.
Is there a single todo list for things like this?
Is there currently any policy of porting emacs features into `debug'
package? If someone wants to tackle it, what procedure should he
follow?

xemacs RPM packaging info files

There is a problem with the current RPM packaging of xemacs regarding
info files. It seems Linux distributions want to gzip the info
files. But if you update the packages via Tools/Packages, it will not
notice the info.gz files and you will wind up with 2 sets of files.
Which brings us to another question. Is there an RPM spec included in
the standard xemacs tarball? I think there should be.

Dear Bug Team!
I noticed just now when upgrading edit-utils that the problem I've
reported several times with mouse-avoidance-fancy-hook (that it causes
post-command-hook to be set to nil by causing an error) has still not
been fixed. I include below my "fix", which is simply to wrap a
condition-case around it, in the hope that it can be included in the
next release. I guess there's an underlying bug that really needs
fixing, but until such time as that is done (I have no incentive,
since this fix works fine for me, and mouse-avoidance is hardly
mission critical), this might help people who, like me, use
mouse-avoidance-fancy-mode.

Hello,
I've noticed a bug that occurs fairly regularly: sometimes the program will
crash when pressing 'Cancel' after performing an Edit->Find. This happens
on pretty much a daily basis, if I perform multiple Finds. It happened in
version 21.4.4 also.
