Dear Bug Team!
I tried to set and save the Advanced(Customize)->Emacs->PostScript->Ps
Print->Color option. It appears in my ~/.xemacs/custom.el file:
'(ps-print-color-p t)
But when I close XEmacs and reopen it, the menu item
Options->Printing->Color is greyed out and the customization buffer
says: "This option has been changed outside the customization buffer."
When I say either "Reset to standard setting" or "Reset to saved"
XEmacs does set the color print option as desired and
Options->Printing->Color is usable again. custom.el seems to be used
for all customizations I set besides that color option. How can I work
around that?

Just in case no one has reported it yet, the installer that you get
from this link is 1.2.2.11.2.10, not .11.

the XEmacs netinstaller which can be found at

Dear Bug Team!
I've just compiled XEmacs with GTK support (I have GTK+ 1.2.7). I start
XEmacs and select ``Help -> About XEmacs...'' from the menu. The about
page with the logo appears. I scroll mouse wheel down -- and the screen
becomes garbled: logo sticks on the menubar. C-l helps to get rid of it.
BTW, my mouse wheel is mapped as follows (I don't use mwheel):

xemacs 21.4.9 on Irix 6.5 crashes on startup

Fresh build of 21.4.9 on Irix xemacs crashes on startup. It only
affects X part of the startup, xemacs -nw works (well, starts, I
didn't try to take it any further). It is the same for both MULE and
non-MULE builds.

My system is: RH 7.3 2X450 pIII
pretty much bog standard.
This xemacs does not work at all. I will be reinstalling the old version in
about 30 sec.
I'll try this after the next upgrade now I have work to do - sorry.
PS fell free to ask questions. I will not scrub my system so this
thing will still be around.
