These look like pretty standard paths to me, can't your gcc find them
by default? If it can, there's no need to include them here.

21.5.8 crash, ia32-linux-rh7.2 (same on sparc-solaris8)

A compile of 21.5.8, mostly the same as a working 21.4.8,
crashes straight away in non-"-nw" cases. It is compiled
with gcc 3.2 (working 21.4.8 with gcc 3.1), and locally
compiled jpeg/xpm/png/tiff libraries.
M-x describe-installation says:

Republic of Congo, the son of late President Laurent Kabila, Joseph Kabila.
In view of this, we need a reliable and trustworthy foreign partner
who can assist us to move this money out of my country as the beneficiary.

* XEmacs 21.4.9 "Informed Management" is released.
"Informed Management" is the tenth in the OXYMORON series.
Relative to XEmacs 21.4.8 "Honest Recruiter", "Informed Management"
contains a number of crash fixes, including fixes for Motif crashing
while updating non-labels, crashes when MS Windows returns bogus
times, in handling of dead consoles, in subprocess handling, in
skip-chars, and on finding non-existent a XML file. This last fix may
prevent the infamous "gnus-byte-compile" crashes, as well.
A recent update to Lesstif on Linux may have introduced a new crash.
Only Lesstif version 0.93.36 on Debian "unstable" is known to be
affected, and the bug appears to be in Lesstif. Other platforms and
Motif implementations by other vendors are apparently safe.
There are many important fixes to redisplay in Windows, including for
the "freeze under virtual window manager" bug.
There is an important fix to keyboard handling under X, which makes use
of keysym-based input methods such as ru-keys.el much more comfortable.

The first release in this series, XEmacs 21.4.0 "Solid Vapor",
contained a large number of improvements and extensions to the current

* XEmacs 21.4.9 is "gamma" software.
The usual "no warranty" disclaimer (see etc/WARRANTY, sections 10 and
11) applies. However, we are now experimenting with a level of
stability intermediate between "beta" and "stable", dubbed "gamma".
At this point all the developers and our beta testers trust the 21.4
code base with all their editing needs. Many have found it
sufficiently stable that they've moved on to the development branch
again in search of some excitement.
After several months of testing, XEmacs 21.4.9 has been shown
sufficiently stable to be recommended to all users. However, there
still remain a few outstanding problems that must be fixed before we
retire 21.1.

The Windows branch continues to have a few changes not yet included in

Take care that your Root is set correctly to

On platforms with a Bourne shell and find available, something like

Dear Bug Team!
I've compiled XEmacs 21.4.8/MULE and tried to localize it -- I mean
setting up Cyrillic input and output.
In X it works, except for clipboard -- I can't paste from XEmacs (I
tried to copy both with mouse and with M-w). It seems to completely mess
up it, ending with non-alphabetical characters instead of Cyrillic
characters -- they're not recoded or trunicated to one non-alphabetical
symbol.
On the other side, Cyrillic input on ttys seems to be completely broken!
My setup is as follows:

In detail, when I type some Russian text, strange char represents every
letter. On Linux console, that's a vertical line, on rxvt it's... a
really strange symbol. But when you do C-z and fg, Russian text does
appear and after each symbol is that very symbol. If you move cursor on
those, strange symbol goes away, but anyway the file is saved _with_
them.
This is easily reproduceable (according to xemacs-users-ru, not only on
my system).

As far as I can tell, the server move is complete and the DNS records
etc have propagated. A couple of misconfigurations have been
corrected. Operation should be normal now.
Further problems with XEmacs network resources are due to latent
misconfiguration or hardware/software failure. Please check
