Nope ;-) It's a mental bug... I used xv to grab them, pressed save, typed in the name and the extension of the file and pressed ok. GIMP would have done the correct thing and save it as png, but XV has no automatic filter setting and used gif. My error. Regards, Oliver.

I saw this land in my spool while I was rebuilding XEmacs after creating the release tarballs and thought "No Problem, Gnus will thread this message and the meaning will become obvious when I read it in context ..."
