Brought over plain tar file, only packages 20.4. Everything went fine, with my patch to src/Makefile.in.in, external widget works fine. Is there a way to add packages from within XEmacs 26 years, 5 months

I downloaded 21-0b44 and get xemacs-base and mail-lib in my package path Now, I am looking for a way to get other packages from this initial bootstrapped XEmacs. I tried M-x package-add-binary-package but was unable to give it the ftp site at ftp.xemacs.org (Does this function grok EFS ?) For what it's worth, I agree with Stallman.
