Now a Suggestion:
"Add Download Site" is a misnomer now that the last selection wins.
This change is a good change!

Recent bug in core xemacs code affecting cperl-mode paren-matching?

Something definitely appears to have broken in the xemacs codebase recently.
On my Windows PC, running native XEmacs 21.4.7, I can type the following
Perl fragment in cperl-mode and get it to match braces:

}
But using 21.4.11, it gets confused after running cperl-indent-command
(mapped to TAB). Specifically, if I press TAB while over the check_date
line, it indents to the beginning, and no longer realizes that the braces
are a matched set.
This is using the SAME xemacs-packages directory, startup, etc; ony the
xemacs.exe binary has changed! Both were downloaded via the netinstaller.

The smoketest does "make autoloads all install" so you will always
(except when the build hangs ;-) get an within-an-hour (or so) answer
to this question at http://labb.contactor.se/~matsl/smoketest/logs/
Should I add non-mule builds or bindist targets or both as well to the
smoketest? Would that improve the usefulness of the smoketest?
Remember there is a trade off. Each build takes as you say
considerable time. So we don't want to build something that isn't
useful since it will just waste time that we would better use to check
for updates in CVS.

Hi,
When pressing AltGr the following error is raised:
iso-level3-shift not defined.
But the key works as expected, i.e when pressing AltGr+4 on the
(swedish) keybord a $ is entered.
It's really annoying to get this error every time the key is pressed.
Another problem is that it is no longer possible to enter dead keys
which can be symbols themself, like tilde ~.
Pressing AltGr+~ gives
iso-level3-shift not defined
dead-tilde not defined
Any hints on how to solve this?
The people at XFree say it's a xemacs problem. Emacs, vi, vim and other
terminal applications does not have this problem. xemacs is the only
application I have found having this problem.

actually I wanted to fix a bug in add-log.el, but here goes, as so often :-)
Three functions named
to
show up in Function menu for add-log.el because of docstring lines like this:
(defaults to nil),
I suggest changing fume-function-name-regexp-lisp to use a regexp
similar to what imenu uses.
I have added * forms though:

Current implementation is inconsistent:
e.g. defgroup shows up in Function menu, but not defcustom or deftheme.
I would like to get your opinions which of these forms should appear

To be more precise here: Of course i could generate patches which are simply
diffs between the old-version (contained in the package-version <next> - 1)
and the new version (contained in the forthcoming release as a XEmacs-package).
But this will be often really large diffs/patches.
If this is desired i can of course send such patches to the xemacs-patch list!
