The following patch makes it work for me again: But this is not a correct fix, it just reverts to the behaviour before the recent GTK changes which broke it. [PATCH] fix eol handlling in propagated glyphs. 22 years

I think this needs to be removed. Take the reference to managing packages via Customize out of the TeXinfo and remove the appropriate defcustoms. The less number of ways people have for managing packages the better (IMO). We can already do it: - Manually via FTP/tar individual packages - Manually via FTP/tar Sumo packages - Automagically via XEmacs Package Tools (mouse - menu choices) - Automagically via XEmacs Package Tools (keyboard - M-x commands) The Customize way seems to be broke. I don't think it would be worth the trouble to fix it, so let's take it out completely. email embedded images displayed improperly after upgrading VM 22 years

Howdy all. Yesterday I upgraded all of my installed packages on my 21.4.{4,6} installation here (thought I was using my 21.4.6 installation up until going to type this note the first time when I noticed that it was 21.4.4, but that's another story and I'm seeing the same behavior with 21.4.6 after correcting that situation). And after doing so, some images that were displayed properly in the previous version of VM I was using (7.00, I believe) now are showing the top 20 or 30 pixel rows repeated throughout the whole image. This is primarily on larger images, I'm guessing, since I did find an email with a smaller image that displayed correctly. The only thing that changed was updating all of the elisp packages that were upgraded along with the SUMOs. Prior to that the image display was fine. I wanted to revert to the previous version of VM to see if the problem was isolated to those changes only or not, but couldn't find the old package anywhere on the ftp site. Is there anywhere I can find that previous (7.00) package of VM? Anyone else seeing this behavior? I'll attach 2 images below, a small one that displays correctly for me here, and a larger one that doesn't... Thanks, Chuck -- Charles K. If you have HTML files in a package that you don't want deleted by make just list them somewhere else, like $DATA_FILES. This is what I did in this case. Can't make patch for getting TUTORIAL.se in mule XEmacs. 22 years

Hi, In "european.el" the line ("Swedish" "sv"))) Should be changed into: ("Swedish" "sv" "TUTORIAL.se" "Hej!"))) So that the nice swedish translation is accessible under Mule. ;-) I tried to make a patch for this but then I got lots of other changes besides my small change. All these changes were related to single characters that was changed. I guess somehow the coding systems are playing some tricks here with me. Can someone please explain what has happened and what I should do to produce a good patch? I did really nothing else than entered european.el, changed the line and saved the buffer. (Yes I used a Mule enabled XEmacs.) (And I couldn't include the patch because gnus complained it had 8 different charsets. [Sort of highlights my problem.] But I hope you can figure out how the patch looked anyway or at least understand my problem.) Yours -- %% Mats
