The problem is that I practically don't have a useful /usr/local/lib (it doesn't contain a single library file). All the libraries I use are from Debian and reside in /usr/lib. However, it's possible that Debian people screwed up by upgrading some libraries and not the others. Since I don't really understand the error message in question, I cannot really tell if that is the case or not.

First Round of Patches for 21.1.7 26 years, 2 months

I have committed the first round of patches for 21.1.7. I think I'm up-to-date. If you think I've missed anything, please let me know. There's no real rush for 21.1.7, but I've been thinking about releasing it either next weekend (9/4) or the following weekend (9/11). Please let me know if there's anything missing or broken. - vin

When I run the latest XEmacs, I get this message: {pc-hrvoje}[~/work/emacs/build]$ ./src/xemacs ./src/xemacs: Symbol `toggleClassRec' has different size in shared object, consider re-linking ./src/xemacs: Symbol `labelClassRec' has different size in shared object, consider re-linking Obviously, relinking doesn't help because this message comes from a clean build. This might be in Olivier's area. The system is Linux (latest Debian potato) with glibc-2.1.

This is where I wish XEmacs would have some rules in it about if 'configure' is newer than Makefile then rerun config.status --recheck && config.status && make -bp
