Hello Team,
which version of cperl-mode is the XEmacs-packaged version based on?
I wasn't able to come to a conclusion by looking at
(locate-library "cperl-mode.el")
"c:\\Program Files\\XEmacs\\xemacs-packages\\lisp\\prog-modes\\cperl-mode.el"
Are we really that far behind?

looks like this patch never made it into 21.2-b19. Hence the breakage
is back.
I re-applied it to 21.2-b19 as updated from CVS on 1999-08-01 8:00 UTC
and it still applies and fixes the problem after redumping.

This is because of recent changes to valid-image-instantiator-format-p.
While
(valid-image-instantiator-format-p 'tab-control)
returned t earlier in post-21.2-b19 it now returns nil, after updating
from CVS, at least on mswindows.
