[Bug: 21.4.14] live-icon problems

Dear Bug Team!
I'm seeing 2-3 different problems with live-icon on 21.4.14 which I
didn't see on 21.1.14. They may be related; I'm not sure.
1. When I minimize a frame, the image for the frame has the default
XEmacs icon, rather than the miniature image of the frame that
live-icon should generate. I see this with both GNOME 2.0 and with
CDE.
2. Suppose I have two buffers A and B, each in its own frame. I type
"aaa" in buffer A, click in the frame for buffer B, type "bbb",
then minimize the frame using the window manager's toolbar. (I use
"click to type" focus management, if that makes a difference.) At
this point, one of two things happens.
2a. The window manager shows that the frame for buffer A has the
input focus. I type "ccc". Nothing appears in buffer A. If I
restore the frame with buffer B, I see that it has gotten the
"ccc". I've seen this with both CDE and GNOME 2.0. However, I'm
having problems coming up with a reproducible test case using
"xemacs -vanilla", so I assume there's some complication introduced
by my environment. For the moment I'll hope that a fix for 2b
fixes this as well.
2b. I get an error (stack trace below). This is what I get if I'm
using "xemacs -vanilla" and doing M-x load-library RET
live-icon RET before initiating the test.

Stack Overflow in Winnt

Hi
I am facing a problem in a VC 6.0 application.
I change the size of a structure by around 28 K and then if I run the
system , the system throws up Stack Overflow error.
I am not able to understand the reason behind this. Can I change the
number of stack frames somehow?
Also, I am running Winnt.

"The v v (calc-reverse-vector) [vec] command reverses a vector end-for-end.
Given a matrix, it reverses the order of the rows. (To reverse the columns
instead, just use v t v v v t. The same principle can be used to apply other
vector commands to the columns of a matrix.) "
You'll have to do some reading to figure out how to get matrices in and out
of Calc.

I salute you:
Please apply the enclosed patch (against current CVS). After that
salutation, it should be clear why this is not in CVS. :-)
I found a possible crash left unguarded in Mike's earlier patch. I
have my suspicions about other opcodes, but let's see if this helps.
Build is OK, I'm sending this post from the patched XEmacs, but since
with Mike's patch to GCPRO_STACK Fset I only crash a little more often
once a day, I can't say this is "tested" yet.
Bvarbind definitely calls Fset through specbind_magic(). I have my
suspicions about Bset_buffer, and maybe some other B.*set.* opcodes.
Mike, please look at those opcodes: Maybe your oracle is faster than
me trying to trace function calls....
Of course it passes 100% of the tests. :-)

Is this deletion necessary? It's definitely possible that people with
>= 21.5.6 would want to rebuild the table, depending on their needs
and possible changes in ISO 8859 -- I think Latin-10 is still pending,
and maybe -7 and -8. These would be reflected in the Unicode Consortium
tables, and eventually in our etc/unicode stuff.
If it's necessary, how about a rule

Not sure this is the proper place for the questions, but still ...
I'm a total newbiew to programming for MULE though Lisping in XEmacs over 5
years. So, have several questions.
I introduce the new charset with the following code:

Investigating into how the chars from the charset appear in ccl programs I
found that chars are essentially three octets
For example, a character created as (make-char 'experimental-charset 32)
appears as a sequence (in decimal) 158 172 160.
I can understand 172 -- it is equal to (charset-id 'experimental-charset). 160
из 32 with highest bit set. BUT! where does the magic number 158 comes from?
The second question relates to font selection. Under windows, when I try to
display a char from the charset, i get a warning:
(font/notice) Unable to instantiate font for charset experimental-charset, face default
So, what is the method to associate a particular font (potentially with font
family that differs from the default font family) with a charset?
