Please write in English, because the XEmacs maintainers do not have translators to read other languages for them. In XEmacs 21.4 (patch 3) "Academic Rigor" [Lucid] (i586-pc-win32) of Thu May 17 2001 on SHALOM configured using `configure UNKNOWN' Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug and the precise symptoms of the bug: I'm using oort-gnus0.03. Entering a mail buffer for the second time caused XEmacs to die. See Dr. Watson Log below. Happened even after restarting XEmacs. The problem has gone away now that I have rebooted. Color of wrapped line with pixmap background always "white" 23 years, 4 months

I use XEmacs 21.4.3 on Windows 2000 and use a background pixmap as the default background: ;; Filename of background wallpaper (setq background-wallpaper "~/old-paper.jpg") ;; Set background pixmap (set-face-background-pixmap 'default background-wallpaper) Now if a line is too long to be displayed on the screen, this line is always displayed in white, which makes it almost unreadable in my environment. This behavior is independant if the line is really "wrapped" or not. The continuation line is displayed correctly. I found no special face for "wrapped" or "long" lines in "edit faces" so I tried to set the face of "Truncation and continuation glyphs face" with no effect for the long line (The glyphs face was set correctly). XEmacs 21.1.14 had no problem with this. Gutter-related crash in 21.4.3 23 years, 4 months

I was attempting to debug the flaky progress-gauge on Solaris and I found that I could cause a core dump. I was using ielm at the time. I accidentally wrote an infloop, and after hitting a couple of C-c's and C-g's I got a core dump. This is reproducible (but it takes a few tries). (Sorry for the garbled message. Let's try that again) I was attempting to debug the flaky progress-gauge on Solaris and I found that I could cause a core dump. I was using ielm at the time. I accidentally wrote an infloop, and after hitting a couple of C-c's and C-g's I got a core dump. This is reproducible (but it takes a few tries). Hi, I found a terrible problem in the building of the Gnus CVS under XEmacs. There is a long line for the function `message-mode' in the file gnus-load.el which is the same form with message.el as follows: (define-derived-mode message-mode text-mode "Message" "Major mode for... ... ...(set (make-local-variable 'indent-tabs-mode) nil) (mml-mode)) If this file is loaded before message.elc, `message-mode-map' will be pre-defined. So the keys `C-c C-c', etc. won't be defined even if message.elc is loaded. Otherwise, if the form uses a macro, it won't be expanded in gnus-load.elc. It should be an `autoload' form, however, XEmacs' autoload does not handle `define-derived-mode'. Here is a patch for the problem.
