@%$#$ can't start on RH 7.1 24 years, 1 month

Can someone remind me what the supidty is that stops XEmacs starting on a IP configured but disconnected machine under RH Linux. Now I have run into this I have to question why we are even trying to do net related functions at startup. Its only an editor for goodness sake. Grumble andy

Will continue gamma branch for the future? 24 years, 1 month

Hi. I'm maintainer & committer of FreeBSD XEmacs ports. Now while I stripped to see XEmacs web and ftp sites, new release version named 21.4.* already released. As long as http://www.xemacs.org/Releases/21.4.0.html says, it seems that gamma version will be maintained from hereafter forever. Is that true? If that true, I intend to make xemacs-devel-* ports and commit it.

Font problem with 21.4.3 (and eventually 21.1.14) 24 years, 1 month

I have a question regarding Speedbar. What does it take to allow it to figure out files without an extension? e.g., at our site, many perl files are just command, not command.pl, because they are indeed placed into the path and the .pl gets annoying to type.
