Does anyone use IPA fonts with XEmacs? If so, I have a few questions: * where is a good place to get an IPA font? * what do you use it for? LaTeX? some other word processor? -sew

Well, for one thing there isn't a Makefile that builds the package. There is a Makefile that comes with the psgml distribution, but it compiles the Lisp only, and would have to be modified for XEmacs' purposes anyway. It turns out that psgml has a bug that prevents batch compilation of the DTDs. I've sent in a bug report, but the fix is beyond me, at least right now. -- Jerry James

Send the ChangeLog and a link to xemacs-patches [1] and arrange the rest privately with Andreas... Shouldn't the DTD be compiled by the Makefile that builds the package? Then we don't have to keep them in CVS. Jan Footnotes: [1] Include any small patch to fool the automatic moderator script.

The same crash happened to me when the esd fifo had been owned by another user and not cleaned up for some reason. It could not open the fifo, and XEmacs crashed.

I suppose that the Gtk work could be done as a new event source. You could do this as well for Qt. Tabs show up at the right times and are correct for the buffer in use, and the customized color specs work properly, too. Thanx very much.
