I obviously have some opinions on this that I would be happy to share. I
have no time to do this myself. I personally believe we should do a port
to Gtk if XEmacs is to be the editor of choice on Linux.
And stallman's stance on Qt is that the copyright holders would have to
agree to let Qt in, which he is very unlikely to do for XEmacs. Urk.
I suppose that the Gtk work could be done as a new event source. You could
do this as well for Qt. Might actually be easier... you just wrap the
EmacsShell widget inside of a QXtWidget class, and everything else is done
with 'real' Qxxx objects.
