I certainly don't care if any of it pisses off Stallman, especially so for `GNU Emacs' (since he uses that term himself). I do avoid `FSF Emacs' in public forums. In the 5 or so days of the xemacs-patches' existence, more than 50 patches have been posted. The first one I saw this week was Steve Baur's 'beta39-pre5 -- Developer's edition' message on the beta list last night, corresponding to the appearance of the first b39 patch in testing. Steve followed this with another message that contained pre6 in its entirety. People have alluded to b39-pre versions all week, but they were obviously getting theirs by CVS. Wondering where all the excitement was, I subscribed to the 'patches' list, only to discover that I hadn't been missing much.
