Please apply the patch, and I'll mail a patch removing the quote. Or
just apply the patch and remove the quote.
As for the anonymous functions, I don't see what's wrong with this
one. While maybe not the best style in Emacs, anonymous functions are
a legitimate thing in Lisp.
Lisp is not C! :-)
