In the course of attempting to do some work on Win32 subprocesses, I'm trying to use edebug to step through "call-process-region" (in code-process.el). Doing "edebug-eval-top-level-form" gets me: Invalid read syntax: "Expected", ("lambda" cl-lambda-list def-body) The offending line in the source file is line 151: (apply #'call-process program temp buffer displayp args))) Any tips?

Mew problem 26 years, 1 month

Just realized, trying out a bunch of packages on WinNT, the "mew" package has a little problem - there are two files in the package called etc/mew/mew-folder.xpm and etc/mew/mew-Folder.xpm which is fine on Unix, but a no-go on a case-insensitive filesystem (like WinNT).

I've been busy lately, and haven't been building betas since 21.0-b48. I've written some utility functions for working with package-get-base.el The first of these is for reading in an incremental update (e.g, package-get-base.incremental-1998-10-01). The second function writes a new package-get-base.el file, using the current value of (the lisp variable) package-get-base.
