[Crash] while expunging messages in vm 6.61 26 years, 1 month

Oops, I guess that's somehow my fault. Either the Motif fix is broken (I doubt that) or this is related to my fix for redisplay after widening. I added calls to beginning_of_line_p() in some places (e.g. window.c I think). Fset_window_buffer() should be one of them. I am afraid I have NO way to debug this at the moment. As you can tell from my email adress I just changed the university and have not yet found a place to install the XEmacs sources. On these machines here they don't even have XEmacs installed -- only FSF :-( Can one of you guys check with a debugger what exactly is causing the crash? BTW, is it only on HPUX? Maybe this is some old problem which is only now exposed because of the additional call to beginning_of_line_p. If you cannot fix it than back out my redisplay patch for 21.0 and I will try again for 21.2 when I have found the right maschine here. Gunnar

My subscriptions 26 years, 1 month

I attempted to subscribe to two xemacs lists on friday. I am somewhere in limbo. I am subscribing from a different email address than I use to receive mail. Is that my problem? Is there any hope of a human intervening and eithor putting me on the lists or explaining why not? Or am I lost forever? Am I not dancing through the hoops properly? Okay, I looked a little, and I see that Steve has a "privately" patched version of 2.00.00. I understand your problem, but I'm curious as to where you are getting your bbdb. Version 2.00.01 on Matt Simmons' page is the correct version 2.0 to use. The silence is deafening. Does this testcase crash anything other than Linux+GNU uudecode? I take it not, but I want to be sure. If this test doesn't crash with your non-GNU uudecode, could you please try it with GNU uudecode? Thanks. This is on my list of maybe 21.0 showstopper bugs if it can be fixed in time.
