Ar an dara lá déag de mí na Nollaig, scríobh Ben Wing:
[...] 21.5 has vastly/completely rewritten unicode support. with my
unicode-internal workspace, it will certainly support this (whether or
not you compile --unicode-internal).
[Uwe, this won’t be committed until January at the earliest.]
gnu emacs 21.x has charsets into which unconvertible unicode chars
stuffed, so they can be undone upon output rather than lost. i've
recently suggested a similar approach for XEmacs 21.4.
And Stephen’s right that it’s not workable. (Unless, well, you’re going to
tell us that you understand and have no problems with debugging Mule-UCS.)
I AM IN JAIL AND ALLOWED SEND ONLY ONE CABLE SINCE WAS ARRESTED WHILE
MEASURING FIFTEEN FOOT WALL OUTSIDE PALACE AND HAVE JUST FINISHED COUNTING
THIRTY EIGHT THOUSAND FIVE HUNDERED TWENTY TWO NAMES WHOS WHO IN MIDEAST.
