Dear Bug Team!
In xemacs-21.4.6, dragging the modeline (with button1) scrolls the
buffer, rather than moving the modeline.
To demonstrate this, do:
M-? n C-x 2 C-s
to enter isearch mode in the top window, then click on the top
window's modeline, and attempt to drag it downwards. It scrolls the
buffer in the top window.
The correct behaviour (according to the user who brought this to my
attention) is demonstrated by 21.1.9 (last in 21.1 series I built here,
sorry). The isearch is interrupted, and the modeline moves as you
drag it.
I notice this on 21.4.6 built similarly for i686-pc-linux,
mips-sgi-irix6.5, and sparc-sun-solaris2.7.
Is this a new feature or is it a bug? Can it be fixed?
