Thanks, I would love to here from folks whether there are problems. I have
tried it extensively on my machine, and it always works the way *I* expect
it to, but I have learned that that does not always mean things work the
same under other set ups.
I only recently began programming shell scripts under BSD (maybe three
years). I used to do a lot of VMS DCL scripting.
