Dear Bug Team!
The keys M-BS does not work properly when editing a fortran90 file (it
does not happen either with fortran77 or with GNU Emacs).
I just loaded the following simple example:

program foo
implicit none
integer :: i
i = 0
end program foo
-------------
and went with the cursor to the position behind the "0" (the end of
the fifth line), typed
M-BS
and got the same result as if I had typed
M-<
C-SPACE
M->
M-<
that is to say, all the text selected and the cursor at first
position, instead of deleting the "0".
