It's not a webmaster issue. The correct address would have been
xemacs-beta(a)xemacs.org.
I was trying to install xemacs for windows with the netinstaller,
but
many packages could not be fetched. It seems that the setup.ini file
has not been updated to match the current content of the
pub/xemacs/windows/packages directory. For example, the cc-mode
available for download has version 1.40, but the version referenced in
the setup.ini file is 1.39.
Thanks for letting us know! This was an error I made during the last
official package release, I forgot to update the setup.ini. I've
fixed this now on the master server (ftp.xemacs.org). If you're
using a mirror, it'll take a day or two for this file to arrive.
