Problems migrating init file in 21.4.3

I just installed 21.4.3. send-pr (see earlier message) won't work, so I'm just mailing the bugs in. After fixing or commenting out code in my .emacs file that would not play with 21.4.3, I tried M-x migrate-user-init-file. It seemed to run OK, but the next time I started XEmacs, it said it could not find my init file. I looked in ~/.xemacs and saw init.el, but it was a link to ./emacs.laptop. But .emacs.laptop is located in my root directory. Why is it trying to use .emacs.laptop? I don't know. But I fixed the symlink and it seems to be OK, now. It may be because I had a symlink for .emacs. I don't remember, but it is possible. It did correctly strip the custom stuff out and put it in ~/.xemacs/custom.el. R.
