AFAIK, xemacs-beta is no longer being updated, because it turned out
that xemacs only very rarely stayed unbuildable across an xemacs-beta
update boundary. VCSes don't provide a way to say that, though.
No, I still update it once a week, after checking that it builds. But
you're right, it's very rare that I hold up the push.
I know you've said it many times before, but do we have a release plan?
My favorite would be to merge over the GPLv3 stuff (not your favorite, I
know), clone the repo to "xemacs-stable", and start release engineering
there.
