--with-shlib on rh6.0

If I compile using the "--with-shlib" option on redhat 6.0, it fails with the following errors: .o ../lwlib/liblw.a -lXm -ltiff -lpng -ljpeg -lz -lcompface -lXpm -lXmu -lXt -lXext -lX11 -lSM -lICE -ldb -lncurses -lm -lgcc -lc -lgcc /usr/lib/crtn.o `gcc -print-libgcc-file-name` sysdll.o: In function `dll_open': /cvs/xemacs/xemacs-21/src/sysdll.c:59: undefined reference to `dlopen' sysdll.o: In function `dll_close': /cvs/xemacs/xemacs-21/src/sysdll.c:65: undefined reference to `dlclose' sysdll.o: In function `dll_function': /cvs/xemacs/xemacs-21/src/sysdll.c:77: undefined reference to `dlsym' sysdll.o: In function `dll_variable': /cvs/xemacs/xemacs-21/src/sysdll.c:89: undefined reference to `dlsym' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[1]: *** [temacs] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/cvs/xemacs/xemacs-21/src' make: *** [src] Error 2 If I add -ldl to list of libraries to compile in, it will successfully compile. I assume this is something configure related but not sure what to check. jeff
