That's not the way this works, since we are interested in many
"contributions" of copyright material from this "contributor" (ie,
GPLv3 GNU Emacs). If we accumulate snippets, they will add up quickly
to a license violation.

There are three options:
(1) dig up the GPLv2 code yourself and make sure (quick and best)

(2) replace the dolist with a while and a comment that this needs
syncing when XEmacs moves to GPLv3 (quick but makes future work)
(3) wait for me to dig up the GPLv2 code and decide what to do (if the
GPLv2 code is substantially the same as yours then obviously it
goes in)
I apologize for this trouble which is my (and to a minor extent the
rest of the Board's) fault. I will up my priority on getting the
GPLv3 conversion done, but in the meantime we should play this
according to RMS's rules (which, after all, are just careful
conformance to the law).
