It’s a trivial file, and I don’t think it merits an entire package to
itself, but there’s no real “miscellaneous-Mule” package it to put it
in. If I don’t get a suggestion I will make a separate package for it, but I
feel pretty strongly that wouldn’t be ideal.

xemacs crashes when gnuclient fails to attach

When I ssh into my office computer and attach to a running xemacs
using the gnuclient program, but the attempt fails because of a
Kerberos authentication problem, xemacs crashes.
Here is the error message from gnuclient:
"X11 connection rejected because of wrong authentication."

Hi,
I'm having some irritating problem right now with both
21.4 and 21.5 together with gnus. With 21.4, while in the
summary-window, when I select a menu I get an: 'Syntax error:
"Unrecognized menu descriptor", t'. Doing the same thing in 21.5
produces a core dump.
(Haven't seen any reports about the gnus problem lately which makes me
suspicious: Have I got a bad environment!? Is anybody else getting
this error?)

Dear Bug Team!
When I use XEmacs on console tty, then entering UTF-8 characters does
not get right, they (3 danish letters) end up as two double bytes
characters each. First let me tell you what does work: Everything
works perfect when starting XEmacs in graphical mode. In Entering
UTF-8 characters in the console itself works, they become one
doulbe-byte character (tested with `cat > console.txt`, entering utf-8
chars and used `hexdump test.txt` to verify the encoding. Viewing
UTF-8 encoded files in XEmacs (console tty mode) also works allright,
but entering them in XEmacs without X seem to generate 4 bytes per
character (two double-byte), which displays as two characters, the six
bytes on the next line is entered as æøå[1]

Dear Bug Team!
When I edit Java files and when I enter a new variable such as:
int foo =
I get the following message right after I type in the equals sign:
(warning/warning) Error caught in `font-lock-pre-idle-hook': (error
Invalid search limit (wrong side of point))
This only seems to be an issue on Solaris, other platforms I use don't
have the problem.
Right now my work around is to use GNU Emacs for Java development
(*sigh*).

The latest xemacs I just built from CVS (21.5-b20 +CVS-20050327) has
stopped honoring the following default setting from my .Xdefaults file:
Emacs.geometry: 81x70+0+20
How could I make xemacs respect my default settings?
