Juste because the most recent work from Alastair J. Houghton has not
been integrated into the main source tree.

Sorry to have bothered you. I have a solution to my problem. I
(define-key dired-mode-map [(end)] 'end-of-line)
and my behavior is now the same and is working the way I expected. Thanks.

Dear Bug Team!
I have a question on how to set up a new binding for a behavior change
between this new version of XEmacs and the previous version. If you
bring up dired and place the cursor at any file, when you press the
END key, the new (current) version of XEmacs does nothing (the cursor
does not move). The previous (older) version of XEmacs used to move
the cursor to the end of the file name (i.e., the end of the line).
So, I would like to know what to add to my init.el file so while in
dired, pressing the END key will move the cursor to the end of the
line. Thanks for any assistance you can provide to me.

Dear Bug Team!
I have a question on how to set up a new binding for a behavior change
between this new version of XEmacs and the previous version. If you
bring up dired and place the cursor at any file, when you press the
END key, the new (current) version of XEmacs does nothing (the cursor
does not move). The previous (older) version of XEmacs used to move
the cursor to the end of the file name (i.e., the end of the line).
So, I would like to know what to add to my init.el file so while in
dired, pressing the END key will move the cursor to the end of the
line. Thanks for any assistance you can provide to me.

Dear Bug Team!
ipa: in emacs the characters appear correctly, but in xemacs they
don't appear as they should.
images: at first when i tried to view a jpg file it would open a
buffer in Image Fill mode and treat the file as if i wanted to edit
it. then i did the same to a different graphic files, i.e. .xpm, .png
etc. and now xemacs opens .xpm and .jpg files with other programs
like xv. .png files still appear in Image Fill mode.

/ftp.xemacs.org:/pub/xemacs/beta/experimental/packages/
2) Unpack them to: [1]
/usr/local/lib/xemacs/xemacs-packages/
3) Re-start XEmacs.
Using XEmacs Package Tools (XEmacs 21.[245].x):

1) Tools -> Packages -> Add Download Site -> Pre-Releases
2) Tools -> Packages -> List and Install
3) Select the packages you wish to install (there are brief
instructions at the bottom of the packages buffer).
4) Packages -> Install/Remove Selected
5) Re-start XEmacs.
Using XEmacs Package Tools (XEmacs 21.1.14):
