Hello Please answer my question. We maked a player in Linux with Lisp languaege ,but we dont know how to make a UDP connection between our player and the server with Lisp languaege. We looked in many sources ,but we didn't attain any affects. Please say to us for making a UDP connection and geting and sending messages with that Lisp languaege which orders . Who wants to work on Ps-print? 23 years, 10 months

Is there somebody with time to hack on ps-print. Mostly testing. The current ps-print-nomule package is really old and the mule-version never materialized. In addition ps-print-nomule has problems on NT. Attached to this message is a recent version of ps-print.el (from FSF 20.4) that has been made to work on a non-mule XEmacs. That is joint work by Kevin Delia and me. Kudos to Handa San for making the mule stuff so modular. So what needs to be done. 1. The hooks for Mule have been commented out below. They need to be replaced by the appropriate fboundp and featurep checks. 2. The other (mule) parts of ps-print should be gotten from FSF 20.5 (maybe even contact Handa San for his latest version). They should be made to work on XEmacs-mule. Then they should be in a new ps-print-mule package. Jan P.S. w3 dies in make-charset for 'w3-dingbats' 23 years, 12 months

Gnus also invokes w3 when it encounters an HTML message, which produces the exact same crashing behavior. It doesn't seem to matter whether I do any other activities before invoking w3, with one exception. If I specify w3 on the xemacs command-line ('-f w3'), it starts up and prints the error "No more character sets for this dimension: 1" and otherwise works okay. If I then invoke w3 again ('M-x w3'), the same crash behavior occurs. I first noticed this behavior as of Thursday, 23 March, 2000. select.el lossage 24 years

All, When configuring for tty only (or maybe even when just using XEmacs 21.2b32 on a TTY), you can not use any kill or yank commands, as they abort with some error message about missing clipboard functions. Loading select.el fixes the problem. select.el is conditional on (with-feature window-system), which seems to be wrong, as even on a TTY select.el is required. Should we remove the conditional and make sure select.el is always loaded and dumped? Kean.
