error in Help menu 26 years, 3 months

This is for XEmacs-21.0.61 on FreeBSD 2.2.6. After starting with "xemacs -vanilla", if I click on the menu entry Help/About Emacs I get the error Wrong type argument: sequencep, 21 I'm using my XEmacs-20.4 setup for my packages, by symlinking xemacs-packages -> xemacs-20.4 -- Richard Coleman coleman(a)math.gatech.edu

Coping installation to different machine 26 years, 3 months

Hi I have managed to compile successfully a beta version of emacs on an AIX 4.3.1 machine. Have two "identical" machines, but cannot compile on other machine. How do I transfer the installed xemacs stuff to the other machine. I have done a make install and that works, is there a make something else that will create a tar file or something. So long as fixing dont-fuck-me-xemacs defaults bloats .emacs only, they have minimal impact outside of the size of .emacs. Defaulting to pending-del loads code whether you wish the feature or not. This is extortion. I firmly believe the user should not be forced to load code despite the fact it will be immediately turned off. There is enough of a difference that I will suffer in silence and fix the deletion bug in my .emacs. patch to vc.el 26 years, 3 months

Here is a patch to vc-version-diff against vc.el from the vc-1.15 package. I thought I'd submitted this earlier but it hasn't made it into the latest package. When `C-u C-x v =' is used, you are prompted for the file and revisions to diff against. Defaults are given, but if you just hit return a few times, rel1 and rel2 get the value nil and the diff you expect to see isn't given.
