Dear Bug Team!
I've tried M-x term under XEmacs 21.1.14 on both RedHat 6.2, 7.1 and
Debian 2.2r3, and under XEmacs 21.4.4 on RedHat 7.1 (the platform I'm
writing this report on). It doesn't seem to work properly, the
principal problem being that \r characters (carriage returns) are
somehow not reaching the terminal emulator, so that every time you
press RETURN the display stair
steps
like
this.
I've poked around in the code a bit and verified that
term-emulate-terminal is simply not being sent the \r characters. I've
tried without a .emacs file just to make sure it wasn't my config. I
hope you can fix this, because not being able to run terminal programs
in XEmacs is one of the few remaining flies in the ointment of my
total XEmacs nirvana!

Dear Bug Team!
After compiling 2.5-b3 (with or without gtk) I discovered that
ispell stopped working in LaTeX mode/. All that appears in the
minibuffer is
"Continuing spelling check using default dictionary..."
and a small core is sometimes dumped. Xemacs locks up but
responds to C-g.
If I revert to text-mode the spell-check works as usual. As you
can see, I am using the current Auc-TeX and ispell packages and
have byte-recompiled both sets.

Dear Bug Team!
Both in xemacs-21.4.5 and xemacs-21.5.3 (which I am trying for the
first time) the font-selection does not work properly.
21.5.3 came uop with a HUGE New century schoolbook ... 310 font,
and the font and font-size menus were greyed out.
Using (set-font-face ...) I managed to get the font to a
reasonable size and some of the fonts xfs provides show up in the
selection menus.
Also: Using the mouse to cut and paste does not work from xemacs
into other window, and iincorrectly within xemacs (when I click
the middle button, I get the equivalent of a yank, i.e., whatever
was C-w-ed before gets pasted.
This did not happen with the versions compiled without gtk/gnome.
Neither did it happen with the original xemacs-gtk which Bill

hi all
i have been trying to workout how to use gnuclient to process mailto:
links from my web browser (galeon)
i have tried these commands
followed by the error i got
$gnuclient -f "mail xemacs-beta(a)xemacs.org"
(6) (error/warning) Error in process filter: (void-variable xemacs-beta(a)xemacs.org)
$ gnuclient -f "vm-mail xemacs-beta(a)xemacs.org"
(8) (error/warning) Error in process filter: (void-variable xemacs-beta(a)xemacs.org)
can someone let me know what im doing wrong ??
or where to look for docs ??

2) Unpack them to: [1]
/usr/local/lib/xemacs/xemacs-packages/
3) Re-start XEmacs.
Using XEmacs Package Tools (XEmacs 21.[245].x):
----------------------------------------------
1) Tools -> Packages -> Add Download Site -> Pre-Releases
2) Tools -> Packages -> List and Install
3) Select the packages you wish to install (there are brief
instructions at the bottom of the packages buffer).
4) Packages -> Install/Remove Selected
5) Re-start XEmacs.
Using XEmacs Package Tools (XEmacs 21.1.14):

1) Options -> Manage Packages -> Add Download Site -> Pre-Releases
2) Options -> Manage Packages -> List and Install
