3) Re-start XEmacs.
Using XEmacs Package Tools (XEmacs 21.[245].x):

2) Tools -> Packages -> List and Install
3) Select the packages you wish to install (there are brief
instructions at the bottom of the packages buffer).
4) Packages -> Install/Remove Selected

[Bug: 21.5-b13] Crash due to Gnus menus

Dear Bug Team!
Clicking on the "Gnus" menu gave me a crash in xemacs. I started gnus
using gnus-other-frame (I just updated to the new packages that got
released sometime back), it asked me if it should go into offline mode
because there is no nntp server to which I answered in the positive.
Then I checked my mail and quit gnus. I restarted gnus (using
gnus-other-frame again) after sometime, then expanded the frame in
which gnus started and clicked on 'Gnus' menu item. This caused the
following crash. I was able to reproduce this once more, but not more
than that. It looks to me like the presence of certain other buffers
results in this crash more often; such as a fontified C buffer. But I
cant confirm this yet.

Forgive me if this is a common question. I didn't see it in the FAQ.
I'm remote-displaying an XEmacs (21.4 patch 8, though I tried a
2.5.11 with the same results) from a SPARC running Solaris to a
(24-bit) laptop, also running Solaris. kill-region takes an
inordinately long time, depending on the size of the region and (I
think) the speed of the link. It's not uncommon for a pararaph to
take at least 10 seconds to go away over this DSL connection.
If I snoop the network while the kill-region is going, I see an awful
lot of traffic going back and forth.
Is this a common problem? Is there any way to fix it?

[Bug: 21.4.11] Perl script called from list function behaves incorrectly

Dear Bug Team!
The attached Perl script, when run from a Cygwin bash shell, works
correctly, and the email messages are saved, via the MH rcvstore
command, with the Unix line-endings.
However, when I run this script from a lisp function (below) in the
Cygwin build of XEmacs, the line endings come out as DOS/Windows line
endings (CR/LF), which completely screws up MH-E.
I'm including the Perl script and the lisp function I use to call it.
Please let me know if you need anymore information.

minimized xemacs sometimes won't open (Windows XP)

Dear Bug Team!
xemacs sometimes gets stuck in minimized mode (i.e. as an icon in the
taskbar). When stuck, you can only open it by right-clicking the icon and
choosing Maximize. It then opens maximized.
Steps to reproduce:
1 Open xemacs.
2 Work in xemacs for a while. (Minimize/Restore works fine for a while.)
3 Minimize xemacs.
4 Work in other applications for a while.
5 Try to open xemacs by double clicking on the xemacs icon in the taskbar at
the bottom of the screen. It doesn't open.
6 Right click on icon in taskbar and choose Maximize. xemacs opens
maximized.
