a serious problem in latest font-lock 23 years, 2 months

Hi, Ben changed font-lock.el in the main trunk of CVS nine days ago. It causes a serious problem to write Japanese text using Egg-its package. So I have sent a report with a patch to Ben and xemacs- patches. Could anyone help Egg-its users? The same patch follows. Error in xemacs-21.1.14/src/s/sol2.h 23 years, 2 months

Hi, To get xemacs to compile on my Sparc, I had to change line 32 in sol2.h: #if defined(__GNUC__) && OS_RELEASE >= 56 && !defined(NOT_C_CODE) My distro of Solaris 8, at least, defines all that __xnet stuff in the builtin headers, so the compile crashes with a bunch of conflicts. I changed it to: #if defined(__GNUC__) && OS_RELEASE == 56 && !defined(NOT_C_CODE) and it worked. I don't want to submit it as a patch because I don't know if Solaris 7 needs that stuff or not. Just wanted to let you know, sorry if you're already aware. Bug report from debian user. Is there a missing autoload? This is with xemacs 21.4.4 and the 07/09 sumo elisp (assuming the debian user hasn't changed anything locally). I couldn't find the PROBLEMS file, nor the send-pr script, nor the core file using the locate command, sorry. I hope someone finds this information usefull. Give me that, and I'll apply your little fix along with it. For Xemacs 21.5, I think we could also include a temporary configure option that warns that 2.5x is not supported and known not to work, either, but that anybody who wants to work on it can take their lumps and send in patches. ;-) Preferably big ones that Didier likes to review. Installation - NT 23 years, 2 months

Hi, I built Xemacs 21.5.3 beta "asparagus" on Win NT 4.0. I got a clean build and was able to install in the folder I had specified in the config.inc. The problem is when I launch xemacs and get into "apropos" and check for some function/command and click on it to see more details, I get the information regarding the file in which this method is present and which loaded file has this method/command. Ex: -- loaded from "f:\tmp\XEmacs\xemacs-21.5.3\lisp\simple.elc" But my installation path was : F:\XEmacs\xemacs-21.5.3 I would expect it to look in my install folder and not build folder. My build folder is temporary and I might delete it!! I'm assuming this is the syntax table stuff. Put the following in a java file and put your cursor after the `)' following the /* ouch */ comment.
