New versions of speedbar, jde, new package semantic 24 years, 4 months

[PATCH] Enhanced clipboard support bug fixes. 24 years, 4 months

OK. There were some *very* silly problems, especially in the X code, which was attempting to hack with selection-alist (an internal variable of select.c). I *think* this should solve most of the problems I've been hearing about. In particular, the _EMACS_INTERNAL selection type has gone, for good I hope. I haven't tested it on X yet (will do, as soon as I download a new set of sources from the repository) - apologies for this, but I know it works (and fixes a few things) on Windows, so I'll send it out *now* and then have another go at building on X. The new selection code is still a work in progress - there are several things still to do as far as I can see; next on the list is a set of functions for encoding and decoding binary data, so that the existing code in select-x.c that decodes the binary data can be moved into Lisp, where it belongs. Alastair, I'm insane and therefore build XEmacs using a C++ compiler. Lisp_Object (*selection_exists_p_method)(Lisp_Object selection_name, Lisp_Object selection_type); /project/xemacs/ws/dev/src/gpmevent.c: In function `void hook_console_methods_once()': /project/xemacs/ws/dev/src/gpmevent.c:482: assignment to `Lisp_Object (*)(Lisp_Object, Lisp_Object)' from `Lisp_Object (*)(Lisp_Object)' Inspection reveals that: (martin＠lasker) ~cdx/ws/dev/src $ g _selection_exists_p *.c ./gpmevent.c:312:tty_selection_exists_p (Lisp_Object selection) ./select-msw.c:548:mswindows_selection_exists_p (Lisp_Object selection, ./select-x.c:1473:x_selection_exists_p (Lisp_Object selection, The tty selection method has only one argument, the others two.
