Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug

Emacs was idle when I moved the mouse into a frame and clicked the
left mouse button. This seemed to cause the crash. BTW, the crash
starts might has been triggered in
x_update_scrollbar_instance_status(). However, I have turned off
scrollbars.

In honor of day 3 of this year's Haru Basho in Osaka and the kind
services of Masumi Abe who compiled the data ...
I've written some XEmacs Lisp that takes the "Machine-readable" Sumo
statistics on http://www.scgroup.com/sumo/format.html and puts it into
a Postgres database. Put the attached two files somewhere in
.xemacs/xemacs-packages/lisp, download the data files somewhere,
(require 'pg-sumodb) and M-x pg-sumodb-load and follow the prompts.
Tested against Postgres 6.5.3 and 7.0beta, XEmacs 21.1/21.2. If
XEmacs chokes, be sure you're running with the most recent set of
postgres patches (i.e. from about 7 hours ago).
Sample query:

This bug has existed for a long time for me, and I'm finally tired of
it. :-(
This is 100% repeatable. Start with xemacs -vanilla. Then evaluate
(load-library "eudc-export")
xemacs crashes at this point. The lisp traceback and C backtrace are
appended below. My .eudc-options file contains just:

Its probably not gutters, but these changes..
* window.c (window_scroll): use Vwindow_pixel_scroll_increment to
determine how much to scroll the window.
(vars_of_window): Vwindow_pixel_scroll_increment is a new
variable.
* redisplay-output.c (redisplay_normalize_glyph_area): make sure
the clip offset doesn't exceed the height we have available to
show.
* window.h (struct window): add top_yoffset and left_xoffset for
pixel scrolling.
(WINDOW_TEXT_TOP_CLIP): new macro.
* window.c (window_scroll): add behaviour for pixel-scrolling of
tall lines.
What happens when you set window-pixel-scroll-increment to nil..?

XEmacs crashes whenever I call "popup-mode-menu" -- even right after
startup (inside buffer "*scratch*"). This happens easily, since this
function is bound to mouse button 3.
BTW: I helped myself by redefining mouse button 3 with
