Cluttered package directory on xemacs.org 24 years, 6 months

Hey Everyone! I've just done a bit of house cleaning. I moved the old package files out of ./pub/xemacs/packages so now there is only one copy (the latest) of each package in there. This should make it a bit easier for anyone searching for the latest of any package via ftp. finder generates a database based on the Keywords: directives in the .el files. This can be accessed via C-h p. There are two problems atm: - for me finder only finds the core lisp files - some of the keywords are wrong (e.g. 'emulators' instead of 'emulations' in teco.el). Does anybody know how to fix this (especially the first one)? Gunnar

21.2.36: balloon-help-mode strings truncated 24 years, 6 months

In 21.2.36, the help strings of `balloon-help-mode' are truncated, i.e. there is a right pointing arrow instead of the last character. Same story for e.g. the string which should be displayed according to `display-time-no-mail-balloon'. More oddly, if you press [End] while the help message is displayed, it disappears and if you move the mouse pointer on to another toolbar icon, the end of the help string is shown - with the left side being truncated.
