Focus Help! 25 years, 5 months

I have the native widget code working under X but am being stymied by focus problems. If anyone can tell me a reasonable plan of attack, I would be grateful because I don't understand enough about X. Basically the problem is that if you click on a widget in a buffer (e.g. a PushButton) the widget gets the keyboard focus and never gives it back - even if I switch frames and then back again. The solution to my problem would seem to be to call XtSetKeyBoardFocus somewhere, but I'm not sure where. The easy answer is to bury it deep inside the Xt event code, but I doubt this is the right answer. Is the Input focus different to the Keyboard focus under X? What does XEmacs assume about the keyboard focus? Weirdness with Fonts in 21.2b17 25 years, 5 months

I'm not quite sure what causes this, but just now I upgraded from 21.2b15 to 21.2b17. The face stuff has caused some oddness with the Bold and Bold Italic faces. Both of these faces appear to be a few sizes lower than the Default face, no matter what settings I try to change. They looked just fine before the upgrade.
