[problem] suspending-emacs with GPM under Linux 27 years

[Sorry if this has been reported before, I don't have time to read the list much these days...] In a Linux console with GPM (mouse support), when I try to suspend beta42-pre2 (compiled with gpm support), xemacs just seems to hang indefintely. Has/can anyone else seen/see this? (This is with a recently installed Debian-unstable 2.0 dist.) [bug] `C-u C-h i' misfires with `dir' 27 years

DnD, CDE, and experimental 27 years

Hi guys! Just a short status report: I have done the experimental- prefix changes to the DnD code yesterday, but I'm still fixing the CDE code. Sometimes the stuff works works just fine, but the other day it breaks in parts (CDE breaks apart, XEmacs runs fine!). I'm now doing a short overhaul on the CDE code (freeing memory the code alloce'd, etc), following the dtdnd examples of CDE (I think there are some memory leaks in the old drag code). I think I can fix it 'til saturday. Something else: KDE uses a dnd protocol that is 'stolen' from OffiX. I can add the support for KDE straight in the first 21.1 version. Regards, Oliver.

File synchronization bug with vm 27 years

XEmacs 21.0 "Somali" [Lucid] (mips-sgi-irix5.3) of Tue Jun 2 1998 on tinderbox Whenever I try to save a folder in vm (using vm-save-folder), xemacs complains: INBOX has changed since visited or saved. Save anyway? (yes or no) This does not happen with my previous version of xemacs (20.5 Loashan), using the exact same vm code (1.07). Chris
