To be technically accurate, we'd want to name it something like
do-not-spill-to-edge-of-window :-) but that's way too long.
How about "restricted" or "bounded" or "contained" (ie, by
containing printing content) or something like that?
Or how about "shrinkwrap" (the buffer text)? "shrink-to-fit"?
I'm getting silly, but even so those are probably better than anything
else I've suggested so far. :-/ And they're close to Didier's suggestion.)
