cvs-updated and rebuilt 21.2.32 this am (5/10) maybe the same or similar to other reports recipe: o xemacs -vanilla & o C-x C-f RET (load whatever dir is there into dired) o C-x 2 (split window, so now have two views of same dired buffer) o C-x o C-x o C-x o ... note that as you toggle between the two windows, the buffer-tab label switches between the correct one and *scratch* -- John A.
