I am just starting to work with 21.2b4, and i am having trouble
loading lisp from what used to be the /usr/lib/xemacs/site-lisp
directory (and subdirs).
as i understand it, there is now an early late and last lisp
hierarchy. so i moved /usr/lib/xemacs/site-lisp to
/usr/lib/xemacs/site-packages
when i do this, the lisp dirs show up in the late-package variable,
but late-package-load-path is nil and xemacs seems dumb about the lisp
in those dirs when it starts and .emacs tries to load stuff from
there. and load-path does not contain these site-packages subdirs
either.
is this a mistake on my part in reconfiguring xemacs under the new
package system, or a glitch in new xemacs code (i know, i know, most
likely the former)?
thanks
