Won't it take more than that to make auto-filling work properly? Since
face information is not saved with a text file, the next person that
views the variable-width auto-filled file won't necessarily get the
same nice filling.
It seems that to make this work, you have to define a word-processor
mode. In this mode, carriage returns are stored only at the ends of
paragraphs. Each paragraph would be auto-filled, using pixel
resolution, each time a character was added or deleted or when a face
