The tarball is created with "make binkit" and all files I care about are installed with "make install" anyway, so I've just happily ignored that error during the few times I've actually created a binkit out of the package (usually I just "make install" it).

Anyway, this is probably easy enough to fix if people think it's worth fixing for the unsupported area; for example the attached patch seems to do the trick. What do you think?
