Hello list,
Could someone of you give me a light on the data type URawbyte and Rawbyte
used in ntheap.c and symbols.c? Such as what's the purpose of these data
types? What are the definition of them? I can't find the definition in
either mingw system headers nor xemacs source code. I've also tried google
for URawbyte but get nothing but XEmacs source repository at bitbucket. :(

Like Vin, I think it would be nice if it were to happen.
However, from what I hear over on emacs-devel, the MinGW port is
pretty much a completely separate effort from the other ports. The
build infrastructure is completely different from either VC or POSIX
(including Cygwin) GCC, configure requires special care because of the
special MinGW treatment of MS DOS drive letters, and the 3rd-party
libraries aren't binary compatible with Cygwin or VC, so you need
MinGW builds of any 3rd-party libraries you want to use.
I would suggest starting by turning off all the extra libraries you
can (eg, all image libraries, X and tty support, and so on).
