Hi Bill, I can confirm the breakage in (emacs-version) "XEmacs 21.5 (beta5) \"beets\" [Lucid] (i586-pc-win32, Mule) of Tue Apr 02 2002 on D5DC120J" as well (native Windows). So I presume your results wouldn't be bogus, since these are for real. I think Ben is aware of these.
