So you didn't upgrade XEmacs at the same time? It seems unlikely that a
package upgrade would cause this. What version of XEMacs are you running with?

As a followup to my own note, it's actually the image width that is the
culprit, if it goes beyond the edge of the frame this occurs, where if I
resize the frame wider than the image it displays properly. Again, wide
images displayed fine before I upgraded the packages.
Any ideas? Anyone else seeing this?
