Not that I know of.
if i understand Andrew's q., customizing faces differently for X and
tty is relatively simple:
1) M-x customize-face RET xxxxxxxxxxx RET
2) click [State] and select "Show all display specs"
3) click [Ins], click "Display" and select "checklist"
4) customize at your will, X, colour or not, ttys, the printer...
5) save options
