A problem with ediff : you can't compare with file revision in someone
else's directory, when RCS has not the authorisation to extract a
revision. Could in this case ediff issue a command to extract the ~1.3~
file in /tmp ? In fact, this behaviour would also be interesting when
you work on your own files.
